We meet once a month on Thursdays at 7:00 pm, Sept., through May.
The Yucaipa Valley Art Association holds its meetings at the Scherer Community Center located at 12202 1st Street, Yucaipa CA 92399. YVAA does not have any permanent or physical offices at the Scherer Community Center. The Scherer Community Center is owned and operated by the City of Yucaipa.

Meeting Schedules
If you are an artist or photographer in our local community, membership with YVAA gives you access to showcase your talents and creativity at our monthly meetings. Active members can bring their artwork to display at the monthly shows and are eligible to win ribbon awards for their artwork and photography entries.

Thursday night monthly art show meetings are held on the third Thursday of the month from September through May, except for December (see schedule).​
Wednesday art and paint meetings are held weekly and provide a place for our members to work on their art projects. Meetings are free and members can drop in when convenient.

Monthly Meetings
YVAA meets from September through May on the third Thursday of the month. Thursday night monthly meetings feature a guest artist/teacher or photographer who will demonstrate their techniques and methods or provide information on various art or photography related topics. Presentations may include a live painting demonstration, educational art videos or slideshows, or there may be a special activity that everyone can participate in. Wed Paint Activity
​The free group painting sessions at the Scherer Community Center are held every month on a weekly basis, Wednesdays from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Attendees must bring all their own art supplies. This free group painting sessions will be for two (2) hours and is open to the public and members. There is no registration required, just drop in. Meetings are held at the Scherer Center in room B.
