Annual Scholarships
Every year, YVAA awards scholarships to two high school students that plan on pursuing higher education to study the arts. Through donations and our fundraising efforts, YVAA makes this possible by working with the local high school to provide graduating seniors with scholarships each year. YVAA volunteers help fulfill one of YVAA’s core objectives each year; to provide scholarships that help further student education in the arts. This June 2025, YVAA awarded two scholarships to graduating seniors.
2025 Scholarship Awards
The first scholarship was presented to graduating high school senior, Gretchen Zinner by Zully Martinez, President of YVAA. This student has participated in YVAA's Spring Art Show and won awards for her artwork. Congratulations!

The second scholarship was presented to graduating high school senior, Gia Scheiden by Zully Martinez, President of YVAA. Gia is the second recipient of a YVAA scholarship who is looking to pursue arts education. Congratulations and we wish all students who received scholarships this year, great success.
