Annual Scholarships
Every year, YVAA awards scholarships to two high school students that plan on pursuing higher education to study the arts. Through donations and our fundraising efforts, YVAA makes this possible by working with the local high school to provide graduating seniors with scholarships each year. YVAA volunteers help fulfill one of YVAA’s core objectives each year; to provide scholarships that help further student education in the arts.
The Yucaipa Valley Art Association's (YVAA) annual scholarships are awarded to students who have demonstrated creativity, artistic passion, and a desire to further their education in the arts. This scholarship reflects YVAA's commitment to encouraging artistic expression and enriching the community through art. Through our programs, exhibitions and educational efforts, YVAA supports aspiring artists as they pursue their creative goals and continue developing their talents beyond high school by pursuing higher education.
On June 2nd, 2026, YVAA's President, Zully Martinez, presented the two scholarships to graduating seniors from Yucaipa High School during the Class Night Scholarship ceremony. The two students selected were Carly Mulvihill and Vivian Orona. Congratulations to the two students and we wish them success as the pursue their goals!
2026 Scholarship Awards
The first scholarship was presented to graduating high school senior, Carly Mulvihill by Zully Martinez, President of YVAA. This student has participated in YVAA's Spring Art Show and will pursue higher education.
Program Detail
The second scholarship was presented to graduating high school senior, Vivian Orona by Zully Martinez, President of YVAA. Vivian is the second recipient of a YVAA scholarship who is looking to pursue arts education. Congratulations and we wish all students who received scholarships this year, great success.
